The awareness of being videoed transforms our behavior.

The "audience effect" is a psychological phenomenon that explains how individuals alter their behavior when they are aware of being videoed. Popular user testing services emphasize this approach despite the issues with video capture.  In my discussions with leaders, some still hang on to a belief that being able to see the person providing feedback lends credibility to the source of that feedback, even though they still rely on analytics!
