Design thinking became infrastructure.

For years it gave teams a way to align around customer problems before jumping to solutions. It earned design a "seat at the table" and pulled empathy and prototyping into business conversations that didn't use to have them. But it's run its course, dried up through overexposure and corporate America wringing it out. That's what infrastructure is...the edge that got so common it turned into a baseline everyone should have.
